Peach Rose Studio - Ashley Landon - Best in Show

Jewelry

Peach Rose Studio is the creative practice of Ashley Landon Halabuda, a multi-disciplinary artist and designer based in Rochester, New York. Currently working in a wide range of materials, Ashley uses precious and semi-precious metals and gemstones, glass enamels, wood, and occasionally other materials in her jewelry designs. She draws inspiration from both the materials she works with, as well as different periods of art and design history (most notably the Mid-Century design movement), combining them to create her unique and occasionally quite colorful style.

Diane Castel Babcock

Printmaking/Book Arts

Diane Castle Babcock lives in upstate NY. She is a graduate of Nazareth  College and SUNY at Binghamton.  Diane has been practicing the art of linoleum block printing for more than thirty years. The process she uses is called the reduction method, because she  continually cuts away from one block to create a  multiple color image. Her images are created in four to six steps of cutting and printing. As the print is created, the block is destroyed, ensuring a limited edition.
